Forgoing my aspirations of becoming a famous illustrator, I began my career as an art director in New York City, moving in the early 90's to Chicago where my wife and I have been ever since.
My creative career has and continues to grow and evolve in many different ways. I have both art directed and creative directed numerous integrated cross-channel campaigns across a vast range of sectors and categories from Business to Consumer, B2B and Non-Profit Marketing. At the core of everything is a passion for the "big idea," storytelling, a respect and appreciation for all those I am working with, an eagerness to mentor along with a never-ending desire to learn, evolve and grow.
When not practicing my creative craft, I can often be found at my daughter's soccer games cheering her on. Otherwise I spend my time searching for the Holy Grail–Chinese food like you get in NY, or appreciating the art of visual media. (Okay I admit it, I like TV.)
While I love Chicago, I will always be a New Yorker at heart. Plans have already begun for my New York Language Academy®—a school for the children of transplanted New Yorkers who wish to preserve the distinctive and ancient dialect of Newyorkese. Can you say “Caw-fee?”
